Questions Options Criteria

Question Which interface do you choose?
Option Keyboard interface; Carousel interface; Morse code interface.
Criteria The keyboard interface is very intuitive for the user. The Carousel interface displays each letter in a big size, but is slow. The Morse code is relatively easy to learn, after a short period of accommodation user will be  able to input text very quick. The disadvantage for the Morse interface may be that the patient must use his both eyes.

Question How to display menu?
Option permanently or only when is used.
Criteria if the menu would be displayed permanently then the user will do less effort in understanding the interface, but is preferable to have an appearing menu because the user will see better the keyboard.

Question How the introduction should be presented?
Option Steps Left, Blank slate.
Criteria Steps Left is used to explain the user a longer process and is not to be used when there are only 2 steps. Blank slate is used because we want to aid the user in getting started with the application.

Question How large I should make the text box?(the one that the patience writes in)
Option Large, Small.
Criteria The box must be as large as possible because we may deal with people that may have bad eye sight. This interface makes it easy to understand because of the intuitive buttons and because of the easiness to navigate the interfaces.

Question Do you have a camera preview on your interface?
Option Yes, No
Criteria Yes: The camera preview is switched on, so it can confirm that the eyes were recognized. No: The camera preview is switched off, so we’ll get more space for the text.
