Used design paterns

Welcome window:

 Blank Slate – The user gets started with help or by getting a feel of how
the application will feel when fully in function and filled with data;
 Module Tabs – Used because there is not enough space on the screen
to show all of the content inside all tabs.

Patient interface:


Text field:


 AutoComplete – Auto-complete allows faster user input by removing
ambiguity about expected input data, avoiding potential mistyped
information as well as narrowing down the correct choices.


Camera:


 Iris recognition is a method of biometric authentication that uses
pattern-    recognition techniques based on high-resolution images of
the irides of an individual's eyes;

 Blink recognition is part of eye action classification that detects if an
eye blinks or flutters by analyzing the intensity distribution of the upper
and lower portion of an eye, that changes as the eyelid closes and
opens during blinking.


Keyboard:

 Spotlight Effect – Highlighting (a.k.a., spotlighting) is an effective but
subtle way to draw attention to a change in the interface. Is used to
shown the current key, in order to help the user to select the desired
key; – Carrousel – The application has a large set of items (letters, digits and
signs) to show, but want to let the user concentrate his or her attention
only on a one item at a time;


 Data Table – Shows collection of letters, digits and signs, and the
corresponding Morse code for each one.


Option menu – Is used to display relevant commands that can start another
activity.


Nurse interface:


Good defaults – Is used when the user has to choose among many options,
whereof some are most likely to match the default value;


Alternating Row Colors – The user needs to visually separate similar looking rows
in a table apart in order to match the values of each row.
